No coupons? Fund the city anyway.
Plenty of businesses have nothing to put on a coupon — an accountant, a law firm, a contractor whose customers are three counties wide. This is for them: one gift, once a year, divided equally between the 501(c)(3) organizations in the city where you reside. You name the city; the organizations are not yours to choose, and none of them is favored over another.
We take no share of a gift.
Top Local Coupons takes no percentage of a donation. The only money deducted is what it costs to take it and put it to work — merchant processing, ad spend and technology. There is no margin on top of those, and nothing is held back for us.
Those three are covered by one flat allowance rather than billed per gift, because advertising a city’s page cannot be divided up between the gifts that paid for it. If the allowance comes to more than the three cost, the difference goes to the organizations, not to us.
And it applies to the first $500 only. Every dollar you give above that reaches the organizations whole — taking and carrying a gift costs what it costs, and it does not double because you gave twice as much.
What is left is divided equally between every approved 501(c)(3) in that city. Not weighted, not favoring the largest, not chosen by you and not chosen by us — and not held back for the next city. If none has been approved there yet, it is held for that city and handed over the day the first one is.
Money reaches an organization 60 days after the payment, the same hold every payment here has, so a reversed card is never taken back from a school.
In return your business is thanked on that city’s coupon page — your logo, your name and a link — and gets a page of its own with your description, hours, phone, website and socials, for 12 months. No coupons, and nothing renews itself: we write to you 30, 15 and 5 days before it runs out, and if you do nothing it simply ends.
Then list it instead — $199 a month
A coupon on your town’s page, your own page and QR code, and half of every monthly payment, after transaction fees, to the same 501(c)(3) organizations in the same city — every month, not once a year.
